M.L. Phippen & Co. carries forward a family name rooted in craftsmanship, service, and creating things by hand.
In 1959, our great-grandfather, Merlyn Lester Phippen, opened M.L. Phippen & Sons Printing & Rubber Stamps in Idaho Falls, Idaho alongside his son, Terry, our grandfather.
For decades, the shop was part of the Idaho Falls community, known for printing, rubber stamps, and the personal service of a family-run business.
Some of our earliest memories were made there, watching our grandfather work with his hands while our grandmother ran the front counter. It was the kind of place where things were made carefully, relationships mattered, and a family name meant something.
Today, we’re carrying that legacy into a new chapter with custom magnets.
M.L. Phippen & Co. creates custom magnets from the photos, celebrations, people, and ideas worth holding onto. From everyday memories to weddings and special events to custom pieces for businesses, everything we make is meant to turn something meaningful into something tangible.
The product may be different from what our family created before us, but the heart behind it remains the same: thoughtful work, made with care, and made to be kept.
We’re proud to continue the M.L. Phippen name and see where this next chapter takes us.
